Our history, mission, and commitment to every member.
To provide accessible, equitable, and transparent welfare support to all registered staff members, ensuring financial security and peace of mind for members and their families during times of need.
To be the most trusted, member-focused welfare cooperative in Ghana a scheme where every member feels genuinely supported, valued, and heard in every aspect of their welfare journey.
The RMU Staff Welfare Fund was founded in 2012 by a small group of dedicated employees who recognised the need for a structured, member-driven welfare fund. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into one of the most reputable staff welfare cooperatives in Ghana.
Over the years, we have grown our total assets to GH?2.3 million, onboarded 215 active members, and expanded our benefit categories. Every decision we make is guided by our Constitution and our unwavering commitment to our members.
RSWF was established by 42 founding members with three core benefit categories: medical, bereavement, and emergency loans.
Membership grew to 500+. Education bursary and emergency loan benefits were introduced.
A formal Constitution was ratified at the Annual General Meeting, establishing governance structures and member rights.
Online application portal launched. Processing time reduced from 21 days to under 10 days for most applications.
